Our Mission

To provide opportunities for children and families to grow in their faith and understanding of Christ and to equip families in our church and community to grow in Christ together.

At Anona we are committed to minister to the entire family.

For over 130 years Anona United Methodist Church has been committed to ministering to generation after generation of God’s children.  Today, our children’s ministry continues this tradition of spiritual formation and Christian education by reaching out in age-appropriate ways to grow and develop the faith of our church’s children, and we offer a variety of alternatives for children to become involved in the life of our church. 

Each of our children’s ministry opportunities listed below is largely brought to life through the love and commitment of many volunteers.  We invite everyone from high school youth through retirees to volunteer in these ministries.  We especially invite parents to involve your children in these ministries and encourage you to participate in our church’s ongoing commitment to raise each generation of children into life in Christ by volunteering to serve in any of our children’s ministries here at Anona.
