Registration
Families are required to check in thier children using the Kidcheck security system. In order to use this systtem you must create an account at www.kidcheck.com. The Kidcheck system allows us to keep track of importnat information regarding your child - allergies, health issues, and emergency contact information.
Check In Process
Upon nursery check in, you will receive 3 labels: 1 for your child, 1 for the attendance book, and a guardian receipt for you. Your child is then greeted at the nursery room by one of our trained staff. Ocasionally children may cry at separation, but we will ensure your child has the ooportunity to settle in and be comfortable while you attend worship.
Important: Should we need to contact you while you are in Contemporary Worchip we will flash the alphanumeric code from your Kidcheck guardian receipt on the screen. If you are in traditionla worship we ask that you leave your cell phone on your person and on vibrate.
Nursery Policies
Well Child Policy
In order to provide a healthy nursery environment we ask parents not to bring their children if they are ill. This includes a cold, runny nose, diarrhea, sore throat, pink eye, unexplained rash, or any other symptom of illness. Children must be fever free, without the use of fever reducing medications, for 24 hours before entering the nursery.
Food
Due to allergy concerns, no outside food may be brought into the nursery. Nursery workers will feed infants a bottle; However, they will not feed infants or toddlers food or food or snacks during worship services. If your child is visiting the nursery for an extended period of time, please feel free to check your child out of the nursery, feed them and then check them back into the nursery.
Labels
Please clearly label your child's diaper bag, bottle, and cup. If you do not have a label we can provide you one at our Kidcheck station
Security
Parents, when dropping off your child, please help keep our nursery secure by remaining in the check-in are and outside of the nursery rooms. Half doors are left open so that you can clearly view the entire nursery space. Tours are available by request during non worship hours.
When you come to pick your child up, please continue to keep the nursery secure by remaining outside of the nursery spaces and presenting your Guardian Receipt to your child's nursery worker.
Fee Request
There is a suggested fee of $3 per child if you are bringing in your children during an event other than Sunday morning worship. The fee is collected on a honorary basis. Parents may deposit payments in the box located to the right of the inside nursery entrance. This minimal fee helps offset some of the costs to run the nursery. Thank you for your support!
Volunteer / Donate
Our nursery is a great place for babies and toddlers...and parent volunteers! You are invited to assist our staff on a monthly basis. Having parent volunteers ensures each child gets plenty of friendly, personal attention, so our classroom is a very happy, enjoyable place for everyone!
Did you know that you can help our nursery by donating gently used toys, books, and childcare items..? We appreciate your support!
