Jack received his master and doctoral degrees at St. Paul School of Theology.  His doctoral research is in the field of ecclesiology(church development).  His post graduate work is used in the Florida Conference in the appointment making process and church development. 

Jack is the senior pastor of Anona UMC, a laboratory campus for new methods of church growth and health.  Many worship and building committees have come to the church to study their campus and story of development.  He is a pioneer in the "high expectation" church where membership and discipleship are joined.  Attendance at Anona has gone up several hundred in worship during his twelve years while groups past worship now outnumber that average attendance every week.

He works with many other churches on their transformation.  His work has been used by many districts throughout the Florida Conference.  He is the Natural Church Development trainer for the United Methodist Church and one of less than a dozen certified to train coaches nationwide.
