Richard Landon
Rev. Richard Landon serves Anona as Assistant Minister and Minister to Families. In these roles he serves a variety of functions, which includes congregational care and visitation, preaching, teaching, and oversight of the preschool, aftercare, nursery, children’s, and youth ministries.
Background: Rev. Landon was raised in the Anona community and served as a pastoral intern while receiving degrees from St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida. He is a graduate of Candler School of Theology at Emory University and returned to Anona in 2005.
Mission: My continual prayer is to model my life after the words of Paul in Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” With this scripture as my foundation, my ministry within and outside the church seeks to grow individuals into Christians of faith and integrity within a community that consistently and deliberately reaches out in love to God and neighbor because we recognize that Christ lives in and gave all for each one of us.
