Shelly Denmark

Shelly Denmark is the Director of Children’s Ministry, which includes ministry to children birth through 5th grade.

Ministry and Education: Shelly has been a part of the Anona staff since June 2005, and prior to Children’s Ministry, volunteered in youth ministry for 7 years. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and taught in various grade-levels for 6 years. Shelly plans to attend Asbury Theological Seminary, Orlando campus in the Fall, where she will begin moving toward ordained ministry.

Background: Shelly was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. She is married to Jad Denmark, the Director of Student Ministry, and has two sons, Lleyton and Hayden.

Her Passion: Shelly strives to make the word of God come alive for children through meaningful and applicable activities. She also desires to equip families to grow in their faith and understanding of Christ in their lives.
