A fast paced cutting edge
service with the newest music, amazing drama & an inspiring message.
SUNDAYS 9:30am Worship Center
Lights! Camera! Action! In this worship service, you will sing praise songs lead by a live band. You will read song lyrics and scripture from a large projection screen. You will experience a worship service that threads together music, drama, altar art, liturgical dance and video to support the word of God and the message of the day. The possibilities for showing our love for God are unlimited and that is what worship offers us an opportunity to do! Wear your blue jeans or your “Sunday best”. Sit in the front. Sit in the back. Clap your hands, stand up and sing – it’s ok to let go and “move” a little! Sit quietly and reflect. Whatever you do, however you worship, remember to invite God in and worship in community, opening your heart to feel His presence and to feed your soul with His Word. Come as you are. You may be empty, broken, burnt-out and overwhelmed from the week’s activities and demands, seeking fresh air and new life from God’s presence. You may be fulfilled, grateful, passionate and coming to worship to express your gratitude to God. However you are…please come, now is the time to worship.
Contemporary Worship at Anona has been evolving since December 1996. Leading the United Methodist Church into cutting edge worship, this service has forged new ground in worship practices.
This hands-free mode of worship uses video and computer technology to draw the congregation to the presentation of the Gospel through song, drama, and preaching.
The worship band, The Nineveh Project leads the congregation with a blend of musical styles employing the latest in contemporary Christian music.
Anona's drama team creates a relational platform for preaching.
Highly thematic, the Contemporary Service aims to present the Gospel in the language of today's culture.
