curriculum middleSchool highSchool worship volunteers discipleship
Sunday evenings in the Contemporary Sanctuary at 7:50pm. Each Sunday evening students, adult team members, parents, other friends from Anona UMC and our surrounding community gather together for an evening worship designed for and by the Students of Anona UMC. The music varies from reverent silence to a pulsating band. The teaching time is applicable to right where you are and challenging to where God is calling you. All of it is intertwined with moments and opportunities to touch, taste, create, smell, see, interact and participate in the worship. This time is a worship experience in the truest of senses. Each week is unique and designed for the participants to worship authentically.
It is a vibrant and inspiring time, where participants are encouraged to worship as they feel led, whether sitting on the floor or in chairs, dancing or at one of the experiential altars. If you are looking for something a little different in your worship . . . if you are looking for a vehicle in which to express and offer your gifts to God whether it is in song, poem, painting or dance.
Since this worship is unapologetically for and by students it is important to note that there will be Sunday evenings where we may engage in other activities like watching the Super Bowl or we may cancel worship due to Mother’s Day. This worship experience is out of the blessing of our Student Ministry and in order for it to remain healthy it must come out of the overflow of that blessing. So come out and join us and discover new ways to connect with your Maker.
