Parents

Average parents have about 3,000 hours of time to spend with their children.  The church only has an average of 40 hours to spend with any given child.  The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years!  The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child.  For that reason, we believe that WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church! We want to PARTNER with parents as we together raise up children who see God for who God is, see themselves the way God sees them, and love others the way God does.

As a parent, we need you to do a few things to help us help your kids:

  •  Bring your kids to Sunday Morning Anona Kids - Godly Play, CREW or LINC - each week.  They will build relationships with the same group of friends and leaders each week.
  •  Use the Refrigerator Door Cards (CREW & LINC) and Godly Play Take-Home cards as tools to talk about faith with your child during the week (dinner time, bedtime, car rides, etc.).
  •  Volunteer in Children's Ministry!  You will get to experience first-hand what your child experiences on Sunday morning.  Click here.
