DESCRIPTION:Caring for a loved one is often fraught with many difficulties. Often caregivers feel isolated and lonely. They can struggle with fatigue\, feeling tired all the time. They can suffer from a lack of help and lack of knowledge of other resources that may be available to them. They often face unfamiliar behaviors and problems leaving them confused and frustrated. Sometimes love becomes confused with duty. \nIf you are in need of friends who “have been there” or just want a break\, consider joining our Caregiver Support Group. You may be caring for someone with Parkinson’s disease \, dementia\, Alzheimer’s\, ALS\, or any disease or medical issue or trying to navigate a nursing home or memory care facility. You are invited to share your ups and downs with those who find themselves in a similar journey. \nThis group shares a common bond of friendship and support. These caring individuals share their stories and their faith to find purpose\, love and support in their unique life’s journey. Meetings are not full of speakers or topics. Members simply “check in” with each other and offer support\, friendship and knowledge that comes from each person's own unique experiences.
