Mentor Training
Did you know that 30 minutes a week can literally change a child’s life? It is proven that the attention from a volunteer/mentor helps a child’s self-esteem and ability to be more successful in school! Although we focus on partnering with Ridgecrest Elementary School, we hope you will consider volunteering at ANY public school this coming school year!
Anona provides a ‘one stop shop’ event where folks can come get registered (or reregistered) to volunteer at any Pinellas County School. Attend a helpful training, you also have the option to get fingerprints done if you choose to be a level 2 background checked volunteer. We also provide lunch during the training, so please register to attend or sign up at the front desk on Sunday mornings. We highly suggest anyone wanting to join the Panther Pals reading group use this workshop too! Please email jackie@anona.com with any questions!
