Anona Kids is a place where kids come to have fun and experience God’s great big love, a place where kids are safe, known and loved.
At Anona United Methodist Church we have a very special program for our children in grades K–5 . “Anona Kids” is a safe place where your child will make new friends while they grow in their faith and learn all about Gods’ big love. During our time together, we gather as a whole group to sing, play games, and to hear the daily Bible story. After our time together in big group, we split up into small groups by grade level; each small group is conducted by volunteers who pour into our kids each week — guiding them deeper into the daily Bible story through engaging games, hands on crafts, and friendly discussions. Attending helps kids discover God’s love through engaging Bible lessons, meaningful friendships, and hands-on fun. Our caring team creates a safe, joyful environment where every child feels known and valued as they learn what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. Here at Anona Kids, your child won’t get lost in the crowd- they’ll be known by name, encouraged in who they are, and reminded every week that they matter.
At Anona, we believe parents play a leading role in shaping their children’s faith. We’re here to encourage you, offer support, and share many opportunities to volunteer and connect with our church community.

We are recruiting a team of volunteers who can serve to make our families feel safe and loved at Anona Kids! Whatever your gifts and commitment level, we have a place for you to serve in Anona Kids. In hospitality, as a small group leader, on stage or behind the scenes, you can make a difference in the lives of the kids at Anona. Contact Mindy at mindy@anona.com if you have any questions.
Anona Kids is always working to help kids feel connected in serving and making a difference in the community around them through missions projects. One consistent missions projects where Anona Kids serve is through Pack-A-Sack, where we provide packed lunches for kids in our community who might not have enough food to eat over the weekends when a school lunch is not otherwise provided. This is a way that kids can easily make a huge difference in our community and serve kids just like them!
Pack-A-Sack will take a break over the summer and then resume dates in the Fall!
