SUMMARY:Sew for Kids Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Sew for Kids volunteers create dresses and shorts for children\, both locally and abroad. Volunteers meet together for a variety of tasks: ironing fabric and iron-on labels\, cutting fabric using patterns\, measuring and cutting elastic and bias tape\, assembling kits for folks to sew at home\, and sewing dresses and shorts from the kits. Whether in a workshop at the church or sewing at home\, this work makes a significant difference in the lives of these children.
