SUMMARY:Sew for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Sew for Kids volunteers create dresses and shorts for children\, both locally and abroad. Volunteers meet together for a variety of tasks: ironing fabric and iron-on labels\, cutting fabric using patterns\, measuring and cutting elastic and bias tape\, assembling kits for folks to sew at home\, and sewing dresses and shorts from the kits. Whether in a workshop at the church or sewing at home\, this work makes a significant difference in the lives of these children. We have one evening and one afternoon workshop per month and kits are available for sew at home by request. Contact: Molly Schaaf  mfschaaf@aol.com

At the beginning of this study\, we repeat our creed: ‘I believe in God\, the Father…\, in Jesus Christ\, the Son…\, and in the Holy Spirit…’ We know the attributes of the Father and the forgiveness through the Son\, but what do we know about the Holy Spirit? You are welcomed into an in-depth study of this very special Gift God promises to all who believe in him.
