Sew for Kids

Anona Main: 312 - Anona Theater/Wesley Hall

Sew for Kids volunteers create dresses and shorts for children, both locally and abroad. Volunteers meet together for a variety of tasks: ironing fabric and iron-on labels, cutting fabric using patterns, measuring and cutting elastic and bias tape, assembling kits for folks to sew at home, and sewing dresses and shorts from the kits. Whether in a workshop at the church or sewing at home, this work makes a significant difference in the lives of these children. We have one evening and one afternoon workshop per month and kits are available for sew at home by request. Contact: Molly Schaaf mfschaaf@aol.com
