Anona Kids Team

The Anona Kids team is made up of students and adults, parents and non-parents, some are teachers or retired teachers, some are people who have never worked with kids before. But this team of volunteers, has given of their time and talents, to share with these kids the great big love of Jesus.

With children’s ministry, you are making a difference in helping these kids to see God’s great big love by welcoming these kids with a smile, by remembering their name, and inviting them in to play with new friends, by leading discussion or crafts or games, or teaching them the Bible story.

We are so blessed to have these Anona Kids leaders who make a difference in the lives of the kids here at Anona. And don’t feel like you have to stand on the outskirts and say, man, I wish I could be a part of that. YOU CAN! We are always looking for more friends to join the Anona Kids team and help share God’s love with the kids at Anona, its super easy to be a part of it.

Pack A Sack

This week we are spotlighting our Pack-A-Sac team. We could not have the kids experience the joy of serving others without our wonderful adult team! This team makes it possible for the Kids (and big kids!) to be able to serve their peers and assemble sacks that go home with children at the weekend that are live in food insecure situations. These sacks contain two breakfasts and two lunches that help with hunger over the weekend from Ridgecrest Elementary and Seminole Middle Schools. 

We would love to have you to join our pack a sack team which, during the school year, gets together to set up and prepare for the kids and young families to serve once a month during the school year. Some folks do this each pack and some just join us occasionally.

Youth Small Group Leaders

This week we are giving a shout out to our Youth Small Group Leaders. These volunteers walk alongside our middle and high school students in their faith through showing up and being present through:
👉 Sunday night youth group
👉 trips and special events
👉 snack runs
👉 coffee dates
👉 graduations
👉 so much more!

There are a crucial part of helping raise the next generation! Thank you small group leaders for all you do! We are truly blessed.

Molly & Susan

Molly Schaaf and Susan Garcia-Nikolova are no strangers to volunteering at Anona! They have played an active role over the years with our missions and leadership opportunities at Anona. When we began to re-develop our New Members process at Anona, both Susan and Molly offered to be a part of the process and have worked to setup our systems and communications to help make the membership process simple and effective. Thank you, Susan and Molly!
