Family Worship Sunday
Family Worship Sunday
Every second Sunday of the month, we gather for Family Worship Sunday — a special opportunity for all generations to worship together in one space.
On Family Worship Sunday, children and students remain in the main service to experience worship alongside their families and church community. Our services are intentionally welcoming, interactive, and accessible, helping kids see that worship isn’t something they grow into later — it’s something they belong in now.
Family Worship Sunday is about modeling faith across generations, creating shared spiritual moments, and reminding us that the church is a family. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, caregiver, or visiting for the first time, you are invited to come as you are and worship together.
We look forward to gathering, praising God, and growing in faith — side by side — every second Sunday.

Anona is excited to welcome the Bethune-Cookman University Inspirational Gospel Choir for a powerful afternoon of worship and music. This renowned student ensemble is known for its heartfelt sound, deep spiritual roots, and the vibrant energy they bring to every performance. While they primarily perform throughout Florida, their reach has extended nationwide with appearances in cities such as San Diego, St. Louis, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York. They have even shared their music internationally in the Bahamas.
Their mission remains rooted in sharing the message of hope through gospel music and representing the spiritual life of Bethune-Cookman University. Adults: Dynamic Faith
Facilitated by Dr. Darryl “Husbae” Scriven
The strand running through the season of Advent is dynamic faith. In fact, dynamic faith is the only way we can truly receive what God has done for us through Christ. In this three-week series, we’ll explore how faith differs from mere belief and how dynamic faith comes alive in the stories of Mary (Luke 1:26–38), Joseph (Matthew 1:18–25), and the Wise Men (Matthew 2:1–12). Come ready for fun, interactive learning, and thought-provoking discussion—including some creative, theatrical storytelling along the way!
Youth: A Wandering Journey
Advent invites us to journey toward Bethlehem with intention. This series helps students shift from the season’s usual consumer distractions toward a deeper, more spiritual path. Each week centers on a meaningful theme, guiding youth into the story of the Incarnation. Together, we’ll practice waiting as preparation, connect through shared meals and stories, and discover how to live out God’s hope in everyday life.
Little Kids & Kids: Stories of Angels
Kids are invited to join us for a fun-filled Christmas celebration as we learn all about the angels from the Bible and the special messages they brought about Jesus’ birth! With hands-on crafts, games, and snacks, kids will experience the wonder of the Christmas story in a way they can understand. It’s a joyful time to make new friends and celebrate the true meaning of the Advent season together!

Giving Tree Collection & Family Worship Help
Come Help in the Morning!
December 14th is a big morning in the life of our church — it’s our annual Missions Giving Tree Collection Day! This is when our congregation brings in all the gifts and donations we’ve been collecting over the past month. It takes a small army of volunteers to keep everything organized, carry items inside, and wrap presents for local families and partner organizations.
We’re inviting our students to join us and be part of this meaningful day. We’re also looking for students who can help serve as ushers during our 9:30 Contemporary Family Worship Service.
We have two shift options that both include helping with Missions Tree and the worship service:
8–10:30a & 9:30a–12p
If your student would like to jump in and serve, you can sign them up below. Thank you for encouraging your students to be part of a morning that truly makes a difference in our church and community!
